Missing performance data for orchestration hosts

Did you know that you have to define what performance data you want to log. If you followed best practice for BizTalk hosts and split up the work between them, so that you get one for receiving, sending and processing you need to be aware of one thing.

In the BizTalk administration console scroll down and open up the hosts and right-click and choose settings, the first windows you’ll see will be like this:


The “Show performance counters for” will give you three options “Messaging”, “Orchestration” and “Active Service”. Changing this is important for the performance counters and to give you the correct information during a collect.
